High Cost Case Management

Invariably there are services sought that end up being long term and sometimes extremely costly to both the employee as well as the organization's self-insured fund. T.E.A.M. is often sought out to help facilitate these cases. Typically, these cases are reviewed by the Senior Clinical Advisor, Clinical Director and/or Assistant Clinical Director. It is our purpose, goal and mission to do the following:

  1. Review with providers the operating treatment plan in a manner that is always in the best interest of the client
  2. Work in a manner that is the least intrusive for the provider
  3. Negotiate discounted rates for services where appropriate and feasible
  4. Suggest possible additions to, changes to, and further recommendations for any treatment process currently in progress
  5. Review any treatment processes that appear unnecessary, questionable and/or unethical (i.e. experimental)
  6. Discuss with and/or negotiate any alterations of treatment with the provider that is in the best interest of the client
