Purpose and Benefit of Case Management

Many years ago, T.E.A.M., Inc. developed and, over time, have perfected our case management services for organizations that have self-funded health plans. T.E.A.M. is a well recognized, well respected, and certified Utilization Review Organization. We focus on case managing Mental Health and Chemical Dependency benefits exclusively. The purposes for providing this service are to:

1. Help reduce escalating health costs
2. Ensure the most appropriate treatment is made available to employees/members and their families
3. Ensure the highest quality services are provided
4. Provide a simple method for Third Party Administrators to understand which claims are appropriate to pay
5. Provide mental health and chemical dependency services in a manner that does not limit a client to a narrowly chosen
