What if my supervisor/employer asks me to see a counselor at T.E.A.M. Inc.?

Your supervisor/employer may give you a formal or informal referral to T.E.A.M.

Informal Referral:

A referral is considered informal if the employer is simply "suggesting" or "recommending" that you seek help from T.E.A.M. With this type of referral, all information is kept confidential unless you sign a release to give out information.

Formal Referral:

A referral is considstrongred formal if your employer is requiring you to seek help from T.E.A.M. as part of a disciplinary action or due to a positive drug test. You must have an assessment through T.E.A.M. and follow recommendations. With a formal or mandatory referral, you will be required to sign a release of information so we can let your employer/supervisor know that you followed through with an appointment and if you are compliant with recommendations.
